Andy Steinem, CEO
As CEO of Dahl-Morrow International (DMI), Ms. Andy Steinem has more than fifteen years of executive search experience in diversified industries both domestically and internationally. She specializes in senior executive placement, interim management and organizational development consultancy in the telecommunications, information technology and security industries.

Under the leadership of Ms. Steinem, DMI has been focused on the high-tech and communications industries. The goal of the business is in building successful partnerships between clients and candidates. Ms. Steinem has grown DMI domestically, but also internationally with nearly 40 percent of the business being done overseas.

Ms. Steinem is a frequent guest lecturer at esteemed academic institutions including Harvard and the Saïd Business School at Oxford. She is called upon frequently as a media expert on recruiting in the trade, local and national press. Ms. Steinem has served as both board member and president of the Mid Atlantic Chapter Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) and has worked with the non-profit organization Sister 2 Sister.

Barbara Steinem, President
Ms. Barbara Steinem, President of Dahl-Morrow International (DMI), has more than 30 years of experience in the executive search industry specializing in the high technology and communications industries. She began her career in advertising, serving in senior management positions in such high profile companies as the Hecht Company, Drug Fair and Giant Food.

Ms. Steinem brings her extensive network, along with her considerable knowledge and understanding of high technology industries, to each and every search. She secures senior talent for companies both domestically and internationally by using her innate ability to identify qualified candidates who have the talent and skills required, plus the chemistry to make a partnership work. These abilities coupled with her down-to-earth style and integrity has earned her the respect and trust of her clients through the years.

Ms. Steinem is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology. She also has degrees in History and English from Columbia University.

Phoebe Henderson, Vice President
Phoebe Henderson, Vice President, joined Dahl-Morrow International (DMI) in 2004 and brings over a decade of sales and marketing both domestically and internationally to the company. Ms. Henderson has in-depth knowledge of the mobile satellite services industry having worked for both satellite providers and resellers during her career with a focus on developing relationships with government, non-governmental and humanitarian organizations. Her primary responsibility at DMI is the identification and capture of talent on behalf of clients, as well as business development. Ms. Henderson has a degree in Justice and Policy Studies from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Mary Dunlop, Director of Research
Mary Dunlop joined Dahl-Morrow International (DMI) in 2000 as Director of Research. Ms. Dunlop began her career with IBM in the corporate employment department and from there joined an executive search firm where she ran the office for four years. She then joined DDB Needham, now Arnold Advertising, a national advertising agency and spent several years as Vice President, Human Resources and Administrative Services. Her responsibilities at DMI include developing recruitment strategy and resources, as well as the management of sourcing, updating and maintaining candidate information. Ms. Dunlop has a degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College and is a volunteer at the Fairfax, VA County Woman and Children’s Shelter.

Sharon Ware, Consultant
Sharon Ware joined Dahl-Morrow International (DMI) in 2008 as a consultant specializing in recruiting including sourcing, qualifying, referencing and presenting talent to clients. Ms. Ware brings over a decade of experience in the recruitment, management, and human resources field to DMI. Her previous experience includes serving as a staffing agent at Randstad where she was responsible for assessing the needs and abilities of clients. At KPMG LLP, Ms. Ware was a senior management analyst responsible for a U.S. Senate client site and served as a point of contact for field consultants. For Assessment Solutions, she held several positions including assessment manager where she was responsible for a staff of 75 employees. Ms. Ware is a graduate Iona College.
